Melissa talks about the original Veterans Community Project, which started on 12/24/2014 in Kansas City. The Longmont Community Project was the 1st nationwide effort to expand the mission. She continues the VCP journey by expanding to 7 cities, with Dallas becoming the latest VCP with 50 tiny 240-square-foot units of dignity.
The Longmont Rotary After Hours found her talk on what is being done to help our Veterans. She even provided an evening tour of the facility for the LRAH group. She is a great passionate speaker.

Professor Walsh has done research on and written books and papers on the Irish Miners who worked the mines in Leadville. He lead a program to build a beautiful and historic monument to the 1,300 Miners and family members who are buried in unmarked paupers graves in Leadville.
